I am still having problems taking doxy every day because of horrible herxing. I don't have the money to see my LLMD right now but I still have a bit of doxy left and flagyl left.

Anyway I want to try just pulsing doxy three days a week(for the sake of herxing and reserving meds) and my question is, If I am only taking doxy three days a week when should I take the flagyl?

Would it be a bad thing to take flagyl during the days I'm not on doxy?

Hubby's LLMD had him on doxy 3 days a week and flagyl 2 consecutive days every other week.

His schedule was doyx - Mon/Wed/Fri (weekly)
flagyl - Mon/Tues (eow).

He pulsed for 3 months. Now he is off abx. Still doing good.

I'm not sure about pulsing doxy, I take it every day. I do pulse flagyl though 2 days a week.

I know that pulsing doxy isn't the norm. or recommended by most but I just can't function with the herxing from doxy everyday. I have tried lots of detox stuff too.

I'm hoping if I can limit the suffering to several days a week instead of everyday I will be more successful with my treatment.
