After a really crappy day of roadblocks yesterday I finally got some good news that will help me move forward with treatment.
Saw llmd 2 weeks ago. After a month if combo Orals to make sure I can tolerate...she wants to try IV
But llmd is out of state and out of network. In order to get IV covered they need an in state md to sign off on the plan
My pcp agreed today.............I cannot tell you what an absolute relief that is!
Whew.

Great news! I was so relieved when my pcp also supported me... and I have made so much progress. Good luck!
-------------------- ------------ It took 20 years to find out I'm not crazy. New bite in 2010 pushed my body over the edge. Positive for lyme, babs, bart, and myco. I am not a doctor and happily offer only my own opinions. Posts: 357 | From The Beach | Registered: Feb 2011
