Can you please help me determine the suitable detox options for those that have amalgams?

I have been taking charcoal for many months but feel I need to do more.

I have read that DMSA, EDTA are not advisable options for those that have amalgams.

Thank you kindly for your help.

There are two schools of thought on this subject. Some say you have to take the amalgams out first. Others say you don't.

I guess the biggest concern is regarding the possibility of re circulating the metals throughout your body and even worse, getting into your brain.

Mercury is highly toxic. Dr. H. recently spoke at Skidmore college in NY. He said that mercury is responsible for over 800 autoimmune disorders.

I have tons of metals in me, and a mouth full of amalgams. My doc wouldn't let me take them out because my heavy metal load was already high. However, he told me to use DMSA. I felt better the next day, and afterwards on it.

We are all different. You have to weigh it carefully and do what works for you.

I have two amalgams in my mouth. I am scheduled to have one removed this week. And the other removed in another week or so.

LLMD mentioned to use DMSA during the amalgam removal. Wasn't sure if I should since I will have one remaining amalgam. I thought the DMSA pulled the mercury further into the brain.

Any recommendations for other detox methods during amalgam removal with an amalgam still in the mouth?

Is there anything else I should be aware of? I read about taking Vitamin C in large doses after the removal. Use a dental dam during the procedure. Use oxygen.

Absolutely no oxygen! That drives the mercury into the central nervous system even more quickly.

If your dentist suggested this, I would look for another one who knows how to do it right.

I don't agree with "two schools of thought". There is hardly anything more toxic to the human body than mercury, except the toxins created by root canals. Both are disasters waiting to happen, now or later.

The approach has to differ and it takes a doctor who can at least find a way to lower the toxic load without causing problems due to inexperience.

Many dentists simply do not have it and have only in recent years discovered that mercury should not ever be put in the body; metals do not belong in the body. If the metal load shows high in a lab test, I would consider it a good sign, because the body is releasing some of it during the test. The next question is: What happens to the metals when they are being released? And where is it stored. It often does not happen like this. But mercury has a long half-life and it is much more difficult to remove when the metal enters the central nervous system. It will do that until all mercury has left the teeth. Watch the Smoking Tooth video.

Read up on it and most of all, find the best dentist/doctor to do the work and the follow-up.

I know we are all different. Toxins are toxic and gradually destroy the body.

I accumulated toxic metals for many years, probably starting before I was born, and I am still detoxing metals. But I got rid of Lyme and Co and have had some great years since the bugs have gone.

Detoxing metals has become much more difficult and becoming more difficult every day because of the ever increasing EMF and radiation exposure that is constantly around us.

I saw a Quizz show on German TV the other day: guests had to guess how the raw scrambled eggs got cooked within a few seconds. Nobody got the answer right. Answer: Three phone calls coming in on three different cell phones laying next to the dish holding the raw eggs cooked it in less than ten seconds!

What do you think happens to the metals in the body when exposed to the emf and high frequency radiation (Microwavetowers, Smart Meters) which penetrate the walls, floors of our homes, the roof, the windows, almost constantly, and of course our body. The answer is: the metals start resonating with the incoming frequencies. Feels like some of Lyme, doing similar damage as the microorganisms, but caused by the presence of metals in the body = serious neuro symptoms.

Wishing all the best and hoping that you find the best doctor possible.

Take care.
