I couldn't tolerate Malarone, Mepron, or Lariam, for babesia treatment (terrible GI symptoms with Malaron and Mepron; psych stuff with Lariam)

so LLMD is prescribing the following:

Omnicef, Azithromycin, Artemisinin (5 days on, 5 off), Ivermectin (weekdays only for 3 weeks; 4th week off), and, if I can find it and tolerate it, sida acuta.

Tell me about ivermectin! How long did you take it? How much did you take? What side effects (if any) did you have?

Why is the LLMD not trying Bactrim DS? It cured TF of her Babesia when used long-term with Artemsinin.

Really interesting about the visual disturbances! I am on a small dose of everything (I'm a slow metabolizer b/c of the MTHFR mutation) because it's easy to overdose me.

Ivermectin kicks my butt, but I believe it will get me well, combined with Doxycyline. I'm still only taking one pill every other day. I can't seem to increase the dosage, it makes me very tired! I need to work so I stick with the slow and easy method.

We are now being questioned by MEDCO.

For what its worth my daughter is on Malarone, Zith, Liposomal Artemisinin, 1 Ivermectin per day, Buolouke, Enzalase.

This combinatioin is to treat suspected Babs but more importantly Fry Bug which she has tested positive for.

She started slowly on the Ivermectin but was up to one per day in no time and thats where shes been for a few months.

Wow Kelmo! I have been wondering how she is doing. I had a set back and had to stop for a month due to stomach issues.

If she can get up to 4 pills, I'm sure I can get up to 2 pills a day at least.

Medco usually questions these types of meds. I'm surprised they are only questioning now after a year.

How is your daughters fatigue level? Is she feeling better?

I hear one Dr. who is treating Fry bug advises Ivermectin at a high dose (building up to higher)
1x a week only---but again, a max dose on that one day.

--------------------
Lyme positive PCR blood, and
positive Bartonella henselae Igenex, 2011.
low positive Fry biofilm test, 2012.
Update 7/16- After extensive treatments,
doing okay!

Surprise. When we experimented with Ivermecting a couple of years ago, my daughter took one pill a day for four days. By day four, I had to take her to the ER.

This time, we decided to start a 1/4 every other day.

Haley...my daughter had stomach issues, too. But, it passed. It was a symptom she had when she first started getting sick. She started experiencing symptoms in the order they arrived. It was like peeling the onion.

Every time she ups the dose, she has a toxic dump.

So, we will give you an update in a few weeks.
