Hello,

Lyme treatment for several years. Septra was added to other abx. After one dose of Septra symptoms returned that my adult (23Yo) daughter has not had in years. Anxiety, palpitations. Increase fatigue and weakness. Do you think this is a flare or side effects to the med.

She stopped it for 1 week and tried again. The same thing happened. It took about 1 week to get back to normal.

I would think that the Septra is hitting bart. You may want to try out on a low dose and titer up. Septra imo is a very effective drug. I herxed for about a month on it. And that was after upping the dose slowly.

Yes it helped, I flared about 4 days after taking it. I would flare also each time I upped the dose.
