I was on the wrong combo of ABX for a year then switched LLMDs. I've been on what I'm considering the "right" combo (for me anyway) for 3-4 months now. The first couple of months were brutal, but I have been seeing improvement for the past 3-4 weeks which is promising to me.

I believe I have: Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella, Mycoplasma. I'm currently on oral Omnicef, Zith and Mepron.

I'm still experiencing word recall/focus problems. My neck pain came back (I only really experienced it before I started my original treatment and when I missed an ABX dosage). And some lingering fatigue and irritability.

Recently have been having GI issues and have had diarrhea for the past 3-4 days. Starting to worry I pushed my gut too far.

Anyway, I think things are going in a good direction. Last time I felt good, I crashed hard. Do I need to look into cyst busters. What did you do? I love my LLMD, but sometimes some easy treatment options aren't recommended. They don't recommend supplements at any level.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Same problems for me - I've been having success with New Chapter (fave brand) Rhodiola force 100 (twice daily) & 250mg of Ashwagandha for the recall/focus, fatigue & irritability. For the diarrhea try activated charcoal and a high quality probiotic.

I also went gluten-free, soy-free & mostly dairy-free (experiencing less GI problems as a result). In addition I make sure I have plenty of Omega oils, greens (fresh & in supplement form, Chorella), trace minerals, Ginger, Tumeric, Amla-C, Chinese Scullcap, probiotics, B vitamins, Magnesium and the beautiful sleep aid, Kavinace. Great place to get herbs & supplements is iHerb.com. Best to you.

NO supplements?? That is not good.

Are you on a high quality probiotic and watching your diet??

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I wasn't taking any supps. I'm taking probiotics 2x a day. I'm also taking fish oil, vitamin b, iron, multivitamin, vitamin d, aloe vera juice, either charcoal or chlorella.

I have floated a variety of herbs in and out but haven't quite been able to nail an herb protocol that I feel confident is doing the right thing. I was taking artemisinin religiously, until I found out it isn't supposed to be taken with Mepron(?).

I eat an all organic, dairy-free, vegetarian diet. I limit my intake of sugar and grains. Kombucha tea in between antibiotics. An herbal belly tea that an apothecary shop made for me straight from Buhner's book.

I'm hoping I'm doing some of this right. Fro m one day to the next, I never really know...
