Hello. Haven't posted in a very long time. I have chronic Lyme disease. I'm pretty much in remission right now. Just have the occasional neuropathy (burning in skin) & joint pain sometimes.

I actually got Lyme over 20 years ago. Never diagnosed. My immune system took care of it until I had to have surgery. That's when it came roaring back.

After years of alternative treatment, taking care of my dental issues & candida I'm feeling ok.

Anyway, I'm having surgery on Monday for a hernia and I'm so worried about the anesthesia. Other than eating well, what can I do to avoid my Lyme from returning?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Jordan

UGH! How about taking lots of vitamin C .. esp to flush out the anesthesia. Before the surgery .. and after.

Maybe take some olive leaf extract too... some natural herbs that target Lyme.

and .. pray!! Hoping for a wonderful uneventful outcome!! [Smile]

Great to hear from you! Hope your feeling well.

I'm not supposed to take any vitamin C before the surgery, but I will amp it up after.

Wasn't sure if taking abx before surgery would be advisable.
