Has anyone had stool testing done from metametrix?

Just got mine back and I tested postive for bacteria and parasite.

Has anyone else tested postive and if so for what? And how many?

Good thing you performed this test. Treating what showed up will help you to progress with healing.

I did this test and nothing showed up which was in line with other testing I had done.

Its a very thorough test and can reveal a lot as far as candida, parasites, and bacteria.

You are lucky parasites even showed up. These tests are notoriously inaccurate....even more so than Lyme testing.

Wishing you good luck with your treatments!

The stool showed salmonella. Does this make any sense? I don't have any symptoms.

Hi Tricia,

I just got mine back too like 5 min ago. I don't know what anything means either. I don't want to hi-jack your thread so I am going to start a diff thread with my results, but I also tested positive for parasites. Maybe this is the missing link?

I had the test done and it came negative for parasites but positive for yeast and fungus.

I definitely have parasites, so I would say that the test is not always accurate.

That's good that it came back positive for you. I think treating parasites is crucial.

My daughter's Metametrix test shows bacillus, yeast, cryptosporidium, and another unidentifiable parasite.
