Hey I've posted before about getting rashes on my face and the feeling my face is burning. Now I'm getting this on my legs and arms.
They aren't bullseye rashes. They are just regular rashes. My skin sometimes feels like its burning and feel the desire to scratch but I'm not feeling a true itch.
It is like a deep burning itch that isn't released by scratching.
I know some have said that it may be yeast but I've been treating yeast. I've also had a very sore throat for like ten weeks.
Any ideas? Can Lyme or cos cause these rash like places?
Thank you

Yes I'm off of wheat......unless there is something hidden I'm missing.
Lymetoo, do your rashes come and go? Mine come and go within hrs. Strange I know. I get them when I'm at my sickest.
I started back on antibiotics today and if my yeast is bad then I'm scared of these antibiotics. Did the nystatin always keep it at bay for you?

And I just want to be sure that these rash like things I'm having aren't related to Lyme or cos? Just yeast? If yeast is my main problem then I don't want to continue antibiotics.
I am too sick.

He has only seen the rash on my face so he prescribed diflucan. Was told to take it for one week every month for couple of months.
I'm not convinced its yeast then since it comes and goes. So very strange!

I had terrible rashes before I treated (for 20 years). They did not come and go... But came and stayed for months. When I first went on abx and usually when I changed I would get a rash. But they didn't last as long on the abx. Knock on wood I have not had one in over a year.
Mine would come after/during especially achy times... I don't really know...but my own thought on this is that it has something to do with die off... And many years ago, before a Lyme dx... Discovered doxycyline would get rid of these rashes in days.

You can get rashes on the body when your body is trying to eliminate toxins. Skin brushing is something to consider.

Bartonella like-organism will make you get all kinds of strange rashes. Could be a fungus of some kind too maybe.
