Hi all
I have been feeling very lightheaded and dizzy lately. Almost as if I'm going to faint. I am herxing hard from rifampin and mino so dont know if this is part of herx or what?

Any ideas?

Maybe the rifampin is making your dysautonomia worse? I get this all the time too - it's very scary! Are you being treated for dysautonomia?

Do you have low blood sugar? Our daughter gets lightheaded and dizzy when her sugar gets too low for her.

I would check in with the Dr., especially if this is a new symptom.

Also just read you are taking Mino.

Did you just start the Mino recently and if so, did you work up slowly to dose?

Our daughter had dizziness with Mino.

Jane-thanks for the info. I am actually thinking mino too. Last week I went to dose on rifampin and didn't slowly work up with mino. Been herxing hard since Thurs and i think that's why.

I was on mino when I first started treating lyme and had really good results on it. Hoping this combo is the key for me. It is just very frustrating as I never know when the dizziness will come. I have 3 kids who need to be driven everywhere. This is one tough disease!
