I took my first TCM herbs last night. I have to boil the whole herbs myself and then wait until it gets to one cup and drink half right away and half the next day.
About 15 minutes after I drank it, I got an extreme hot flash and almost passed out. Is this a reaction or just my normal fainting? I was already having problems with my BP this week and I faint constantly and take midodrine which doesn't seem to help even in the higher dose.
The tea seemed to accelerate and strengthen the pre-faint hotflash though.

If it were me, I would def stop drinking that herb if it gives you that kind of reaction. TCM can be very strong. If your BP is that low, you might want to consider salt/c to help raise your BP and at the same time go after some pathogens and support your adrenals.
