This article talks about high dose Rifampin in the treatment of TB. I wonder if it might work against Bart too. They are talking about a once a day dose of 1200 mgs.
I would much rather work up to a higher dose than be on it for eons. I would be very interested in knowing if anyone has done high dose Rifampin for Bart.

I looked at article and the dose response curve looks odd (esp. 0/14 at 25 mg dose), not that the overall data isn't encouraging.
I'd be surprised if anyone was prescribed doses this high for Lyme, but you never know.
Anyhow, thanks for the post. I am sure it will get some attention from some of the LLMDs.

Yes my old doc would go to 1800 sometimes. I think it's be owning more common.
