Four oils were found to have action against candida biofilms in the following study (eucalyptus, peppermint, ginger grass, and clove):

Hooray for Peppermint!!! (has long been one of my most favorite oils)

I assume we'd have to take the oil internally for it to work?

Thank you Sonatina for your research. Also, Lavendar oil is a potent antifungal and antibacterial agent. I found this out when I took it earlier this year for sleep (Lavela 1265).

YW, TNT! Thanks for your postings also.

Razzle: I don't know. Wish there was more info. available. Peppermint leaf can be brewed as a tea, but I have no idea whether that would do anything.
Tastes good though ;-).

Most essential oils are steam-distilled out of the plant, so I don't think tea would be strong enough (but peppermint tea does taste yummy)...

Yeah, I wish there was more info too...

Thanks for posting this research -- it is good to learn new and different ways to treat Candida.
