Our latest challenges are cardiac problems. My spouse faces major aortic valve replacement surgery next month. Surgeon says defect is genetic, but Lyme disease could have added to his troubles. We were surprised to find 2 well known heart surgeons who were up to date on Lyme disease. They are working with our LLMD.
My problems are probably Lyme related, I'm told, because my heart is "misfiring". Stay on the IVs, I'm told, and keep close watch on EKGs. I may eventually get a pacemaker, he said.
We are watching our diet, trying to eat healthy. I have trouble eating some times, eat very little but weight never changes. I am pale, trembling and weak. One son tells me to stop IVs (I've been on them a year...daily). Other son says to tough it out until tests are clear+3 mos.
I wonder when this nightmare will end. We were so proud of ourselves last month when we had family for Christmas. We spent 10 days in bed afterwards. ..but we did it!! Now we face another challenge. I feel that we must exhibit courage and perseverance so that all our kids will learn from us.
Happy New Year, Everyone! Let's all resolve to fight and to win this battle!!

- farraday,
Sorry to hear of "double trouble" going on there. I hope there are some things to make this easier for you both - and maybe something easy?
For you: MAGNESIUM can really help stabilize heart rhythm. Detail here:
CARDIAC INFO & SUPPORT - Great collection of links that help explain and also help to solve some puzzles, too. -
