Has anyone had to treat mold with lyme? Have you taken sporanox (itracanozole)? Please share your experience. Thanks.

We've used it a long time ago when on a stool test yeast came back sky high with 'source/species unknown'
It's good, it can whop you maybe, so slow and detox. Check interactions. Also did cholysrstremine to detox.

I got exposed to hystoplasmosis from a cave in Costa Rica and had to take Sporanox for a year. It was diagnosed through a lung biopsy and not related to lyme.
As tutu says, it also helps with candida so I was getting a double whammy since I had recently come off antibiotics and know it helped with that too.
I think it's a strong drug and is very helpful so if your doctor is prescribing it, it's probably in your best interest to give it a try.

My doc told me saunas and binders work great.

Yes. Interacts with a ton of other meds. So doc pulled me off all other meds, waited 10 days, then started Sporonox.
Partly for the mycotoxins, also because something in Sporonox inhibits the P442 in borrelia.
Used for one month. Herxed like crazy. Worse herxing I ever had.
Didn't reduce mycotoxin levels. Test values were the same before and after.
Didn't help with lyme symptoms.
Just my experience.

I used this in place of amphotericin B in my nasal atomizer treatment for less than a month. It didn't seem to be as effective as the amphotericin B, but also did not cause the burning in my sinuses caused by Ampho B.

I would be careful of that lpkayak. It is antifungal but works in a different way than itraconazole. I read that ketoconazole has been discontinued in some countries.
