Struggling with these two symptoms recently, in addition to migraines on top of it all.

Am re-starting rifampin, saw other posts that suggest this might be bart?

Anyone have any suggestions for symptom relief as I ramp up meds?

Thanks.

When i had these symptoms i had an intense feeling of 'bugs' in my nose, as in crazy itching etc that extended to my eyes as well. Oddly, i used (and still use when it flares) an antibiotic ointment called Mupirocin; you apply it topically to the inside of the nose. The cilia move it upward and into the sinus cavity. It creates kind of 'barrier' that seems to relieve the response some (i had crazy sneezing too) and the antibiotic itself is helpful to the total treatment. Good luck:)

When I herx I will get the head pressure. Maybe chart things that maybe you're herxing when you get these feelings?

Things that have helped my head pressure are water retention pills and or aspirin. Seems to feel like they release head pressure. Also allergy pills have worked sometimes.

But I would take inventory if you might be on a 7 day herx or some sort of monthly herx. Taking more meds and ramping up if you are herxing is maybe not a good idea. Just my experience.

I've had the head pressure so bad that I've ended up in the hospital with viral meningitis.
