Does anyone have this? Like the sense that the floor isn't quite where you think it is?
I swear I stumble like i'm drunk, especially when standing up quickly or after having sat down for a while.
What causes this? Has anyone found a good solution to this?

I had this a lot in the beginning and I thought I had benign positional vertigo, so I tried those exercises but they didn't work.
But one thing you could try is to at least isolate where the sense of imbalance is coming from. I used to ( and still do) check myself for Romburg sign -- feet together, close your eyes, do you sway?
If not then the problem is in your ears, like a fluid imbalance, not in your spine or cerebellum. It could also be some kind of cranial nerve dysfunction with your eyes. Investigate it to see where the problem is.

Is there some test for POTS? Something I can do to make it better before my next doctor's appointment?
I just stood and closed my eyes and I think maybe I sway a little. I tried to concentrate really hard and NOT sway but I think I still did. And I had to open my eyes because I felt like I was going to fall over. What does that mean?

i had this as well but it cleared with LYme treatment. With me, i had the shifty floor feeling but also had a sense when i was walking that if i looked down or backwards i would fall over.
I always understood it was part of neurological Lyme.

Had B12 checked, and it was >1000! (I am supplementing.)
Sounds like I should just keep treating and live with it in the mean time? When I have enough energy to do my fun activities, like hiking or caving, my balance really needs to be solid so I don't fall over cliffs. I was hoping I could temporarily treat the symptoms, but it sounds like that isn't really doable.
Any other advice would be appreciated!

Another possibility - chiropractic care for neck and skull? Adjustment of C2, C1 and connection to skull - the atlanto/occipital junction has cleared this up for me. Of course, I can't say what is going on for someone else - just reporting what has cleared up dizziness for me.

- In inner / middle ear are involved at all, each of these can offer some relief from vertigo, dizziness, or just feeling off kilter balance (and the resulting symptoms that can go with that).
The two homeopathics can also be taken together. They would give me instant relief on some past flights.

paleogal, Nystatin is taken to try to prevent candida. Once you get it, Nystatin is of no help.
So, if you have yeast, you need a prescription for Diflucan or a similar yeast killer.

Yes, I felt like I was tipped over, also bumped into things. That was babesia and resolved completely with treatment but it didn't leave quickly.
Also had a very hard time standing - that's POTS. Thermatabs (salt supplement) helped a lot with that. Also don't get up too fast, or move your feet first while still sitting. Take thermatabs or liberal salt with food or both.
