Probably not a good idea to ever buy cut green beans, now that I think about it. It can increase the risk of contamination when any food is cut prior to it being in our own kitchen.
But the issue is likely the cleanliness of machinery that sorts, moves, etc. Same as with the frozen pea recall a couple months ago. -
