Hi, On Monday, I had one side of my amalgam fillings taken out. The dentist and assitant took great care, they used this big shield thing before my throat, and doc is a seasoned, wonderful dentist.
A day later, yesterday, and today, I feel like my skin is sunburned, and it looks a little pink. I am on Cowden, and starting to get some big doses, so I guess it could be a herx too.
Anyone?

It sounds like mercury exposure got to you. Not sure if your dentist was a biological one but biological dentists know that amalgams require more than great care. Removal of amalgams exposes a patient to the most mercury (very high levels) so they use more than a shield and an assistant with suction and water.
A biological dentist would have put you on binders and prepped you and more. Pectasol C is a good one. You could also try bentonite clay. FIR sauna would be good too. You might also try a clay mask.

Hi Catgirl, we don't have bilogical dentists here, but I am on Cowden protocol which has sealantro, a metal detox, within it, among many other things.
It's much better today after taking the Sealantro, as scheduled. The protocol has me doing Sealantro every other day. I had been on Cowden for 18 days prior to the amalgam removal, so I felt as though I was prepped, but I guess not!
Thanks Catgirl

You're welcome. :) Amalgam removal is serious stuff. Sealantro is not enough IMO. All the stuff I listed can help you. Heavy metal detox takes a while (been years for me).

That sunburn feeling and pinkish face lasted one day. And now I have been fine.
I don't know if there are hiddden effects I should be concerned about? But I feel fine now, 8 days later

Great it only lasted one day. Still there is lots to detox (you were still exposed). Mercury weakens the immune system and the indirect effects can be compared to someone with AIDS.
Mercury and other metals weaken the immune system so much that the body has a hard time fighting things that a healthy body can. AIDS patients don't die of AIDS, they die of things like cancer, kidney problems, pneumonia, etc because the immune system gets so weak it cannot fight. So detox, detox, detox.
Here some great books that can help:
The Poison in Your Teeth (McGuire, DDS), Healthy Teeth Healthy Body, and Mercury Detoxification. Also, Whole Body Dentistry (Breiner, DDS).
