Hi,
I have been looking for information about infrared saunas. I found some old posts (about year old) but would like to hear from anyone who has recently bought one.

Do the portable ones work as well as the larger units? Anyone have a brand & model to recommend? What's the cost of the ones you use? What kind of results have you gotten?

Thanks for any feedback you can give.

Dr, C. Recomends infar red saunas This is a number for a place for them and a name of one he says his patients are enjoying.

High Tech Health in Boulder colorado
1-800-794-5355
Adodyne Infared therapy Machine.

It also says make sure you get your doctor approval. Certain health problems can keep you from using it. Such as heart, kidney, diabetes, or elderly or frail.

Cherl ([email protected]) has managed to get all of us Lyme patients thru Hitech health if we buy a suna from that company. It is a fairly sizeable discount.

Dr. C. has already had two patients buy the saunas.
Cheryl is in the process of notifying LLMDs Lyme websites about the discount.

I forwarded this post to her in case she does not see it. She also has Lyme.

When you call HiTech health ask for Jennifer and tell them Cheryl Fiddler (sp?) referred you about the sauna discount

Their number is: 1-800-794-5355

Dr. H also recommends the High Tech Health Far Infrared Sauna. However, he says any sauna will be of some benefit. So, in the meantime, join a gym with a sauna - I did and it seems to help.

Turks go out and bury themselves in rocks on the beach. People who have arthritis or some other ailment do this.

So next time you are that way...

Something my doctor told me today when i told her i bought a pool for excersize. She said that you can get your doc to write a note stating it is for therapy and you can take it off of your taxes.

So im sure the other items would work to.

Thanks for all the input.

It looks like most have gotten the HiTech unit. Anybody (other than Shelly) have one from Miricle Heat? The pricing is about the same but they have free shipping and setup.

Also, has anyone used the small portable units that sell for under $500? I'd like to know if they work as well.
