Missed this one until today!!

Here off and on due to yukky computer!! (Only can check in from the Library!!) Been here since - along time - sick since 1985, treatment since 1999 and here since 2000 - still not well but, think Mepron has brought me a tiny little relief!!

Hope those Lymies in Florida are hanging in there. You are in my prayers.

Sherry R

Newbie here since last week. Love Tincup's long list of wonderful websites. Loved the teddy bear site above.

DX 7-12-04 w/late stage lyme....been MISDX for 34 yrs. starting w/mono and then the pain/fatigue. So now have between 26-28 dx illnesses/symptoms. FINALLY the no. 1 culprit has been found w/western blot IGG & IGM...lyme disease! Finally a name for it..yippee.

On biaxin xl 1000/day for 3 days/2 off; then doxycycline 200/day for 3 days/2 off; then alternate meds. On this for 3 wks.; have herxing but nothing I can't handle.

Did email Potaki too + passed it onto other Iowa lymies! Guess I'm 1st Iowa registered, but know Biting Back/Iowa visits here too.

I'll be a hit-n-miss here; hubby says I spend too long on pc/internet; yep, I agree researching 3-5 hrs. daily. Gotten a lot of useful info off 3-4 lyme sites now.

Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge. Hope you all get to feeling a little bit better each day.

Yes, my thoughts & prayers go to those in Florida & Frances' pathway last weekend and the next to come. Hope all are safe.

I'm here and just getting started. Not dx'ed yet. Hope to be soon. Sounds funny to most but I think you all will understand: I really, really hope I have Lyme Disease.

I've been so run down the last few days I haven't done much but read here and elsewhere about this little bug! I need to gather my strength to call two LLMDs on Monday as well as my regular PCP.

Anyway, I'm here and hope to stay.

Swissmoeka here, I must have missed this post. Although I'm not on as much as I used to be.

Check in and read but don't post much.
