Im probably one of the rude longstanding members. I have been amazed how rude lymenet has become.

About three years ago....we had a wonderful group of people who regularly prayed for each other. Some asked for prayer, and others joined in in prayer.

Most of us really dont come on anymore,...because the nitpicking rudetalking crap is just too much and we are doing other things with our lives....like fighting where it counts...at the legislative levels, not online here with other sick people

So...if you guys want to get down on "the power of prayer" then this is not the same loving lymenet of a few years ago.

You newbies...who forget that us rude longstanding lymenet people have a lot of insight on issues that half of you have no clue about..will have to re invent the wheel if we are out of here- and a lot of time has gone into that invention.

Keep up the good prayers you guys. They do bring everyone who wishes to be involved closer...and those who dont like them...DONT OPEN THE POST..its not that hard

From a "Long time lyme member"...who by the way finds power of prayer has lifted my daughter to fully functional~ have a good evening.

I never said DONT pray oh yee long standing members, and I talking about you, Lishsmom.

this has really been bothering me, feel that we all need support through this disease, i get my strentgh through god and prayer, and yes sometimes the more you pray and get into the word things get tough that is not god that is the enemy trying to see how strong your faith is. I am surprised at the response to all of this, our focus should be on god and prayer not on what site a prayer group can be on. Just a thought if this prayer group has become such a big issue what do we really mean when at some point we have probably all ask for prayer do we really beleive in prayer or has it become a common saying.
i am not trying to offend anyone i was very surprised i thought we were all a group of support and needed prayer.
again if i offend anyone i am sorry but i strongly mean what i said.

There was a great idea someone started here awhile ago. It's called SOB. Or Scroll On By.

This means if you come across a topic thread that might offend you or doesn't interest you, than you scroll on by.

This threads titled clearly stated "the power of prayer".

So if prayer offends someone, or whatever.... than they have the option to not read this thread. heck there are lots of stuff here that offend me, and I just SOB.

I agree wholeheartedly. I too have stopped posting as much, due to all the name calling, rudeness and other childish type behavior I have witnessed this past year.

I have this site to thank for giving me back my health and helping me get my 2 children diagnosed and on their way to wellness.

So I will never abandon those who may benefit from my experiences, and I will not stop posting here just because some feel the need to force their rudeness and sarcasm on others.

What is the harm in posting a thread about prayer in Medical??? I believe in the power of prayer. More so than any medication, rife, supplement, ozone therapy, essence therapy, and list goes on.

If we can discuss other medial and alternative therapies to help us get well, what's the harm in posting about the power of prayer.

True this could be moved to off topic, but not many people go there, as it's not a warm and fussy board like it is over here.

I think it's a shame that this post has to be moved...

God Bless you all!

I'm wondering if we start letting the prayer police say what can and can't be posted here..when will it all stop.

I mean, I am always asking folks here to keep my children in their prayers. Does this mean that I have to post this request only in off topic???

Think about it for a minuet...isn't this getting a little out of hand?

Remember that old song, "We shall not be moved?" Well, we moved.

I moved the circle to general but still drama ensued.

Thus, I have moved it to off topic.

Join us, please, if you are interested in prayer.

Thanks,

Michael

Kind of makes you wonder if maybe the devastating effects of this crummy disease isn't enough to occupy a person's thoughts.

like...Who in the name of all that's holy has the flippin energy to rag on this??

"and that's all I've got to say about that"
Be well kt

Wow! This is the first time I looked at this post and I must say...I don't know what to say except pick your battles.

I'm a Christian and if I saw some other post about another religion or whatever I would not be offended.

If I saw a post praising satan I would think, humm, that's weird. And then I would continue to try to get my insurance company to pay for my Bicillin. If I gave you my insurances phone # would some of you direct your anger at them?

Medical, General, Off Topic, whatever. Who cares?

Don't freak out and devote my every waking hour to this one post.
Life's too short to stress about some words somebody, you've never met bother you this much. They are just words.
I'm about to go to the Dentist! Now that's worth getting upset about.
Everybody have a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

HEY ALL
DIFFERENT IS DIFFERENT. DIFFERENT DOES NOT MEAN WRONG, IT MEANS DIFFERENT.
WE LEARN FROM PEOPLE WHO LOOK AT THE WORLD THRU A DIFFERENT LENS THAN US.
NO ONE ON THIS SITE/TOPIC IS WRONG.
CELERATE DIFFERNCES AND LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER.
DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY.

THERE IS NO NEED TO ATTACK SOMEONE WHO THINKS DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU.
WE ARE ALL HERE FOR A REASON. LET'S GIVE OUR ENERGY TO GAINING KNOWLEDGE AND HEALING.
AS IN ANY RELATIONSHIP,THERE IS A RESOLUTION.
THANK YOU TO THOSE THAT HAVE FOUND THAT RESOLUTION.
OK, NOW HOW DO I GET TO THE PRAYER SITE.
PEACE,
BJG

Howdy,

Very few have followed us to our new home on OFF TOPIC. What? is this the wrong side of town or something? Hey, now, that I live in rural Georgia, it takes an hour drive for a decent cup of coffee. One and half hours for Thai food. There is no excuse, guys!

Hey Hobo , It is funny...I thought you would be graciously received in General(as was stated)...But...the battle followed you there.Sorry.

Off Topic is the only place where you have had no battles...which is good and what you were after.Peace!!!And that is really saying something since Off Topic is very heated and political...goes along with the territory...and some fail to realise that.

So I hope you will stay in off topic the only place where you have not encountered any controversy.Thank you for your strength and fortitude in this matter. You have received only respect over there considering the possibilties.

You are very kind and compassionate to be in this ping-pong arena. Watch out for IVAN!! Coming up now!

I am not Christian but find support in prayer for healing. Interestingly, I find that the Christians seem to have a jump on others in knowing best how to get their prayers answered. Keep up the good work, and please count me in.
