Hello all! After seven months of being bounced from specialist to specialist I was finally diagnosed by a LLMD in DC. My WB is (+) from IGeneX.

I was saying Lyme disease all along, as I had a pretty Bull's Eye rash in August. But, I can't dwell on that...

My question is that despite the antiobiotic treatment, I still fall aslepp by 8:00 PM every night and will awaken between 2:00 and 3:00 AM every morning. I fall back to sleep, but it is like clockwork. Does anyone else have this?

Also, I am often very sore at night and in the early morning. Could this be the cyclle of the spirochetes?

Thanks for the support and the information.

Heather

according to chinese medicine or acupuncture, waking at 3 is a sign of an energy block in your 'liver' qi or chi...could be overloaded from meds..

have you ever been to an accupuncturist? i used to wake up like clockwork every night at this time, now after continuing to go to an acupuncturist and opening this energy line so my liver can clear itself etc..I never wake up..i sleep right throgh till my alarm goes off at 6:30 am...

just another perspective...eastern medicine, which i think is a great adjunct to abx and the reason i got well.

Problems with sleep are on Lyme symptoms lists. Periodically I get that, too.

I'm lucky if I sleep from midnite to 4am. But it's getting better with treatment. Pat
