How about, "Ya'll have left Texas ticked off now!" Just my sick humor. My relatives are all from Texas.

"Clint Black, and Lyle Lovett sing for y'all about what Ticks can do to y'all in the Lone Star State"

It's not a book title--but maybe a album name???

I see a possiable capitalistic project here......... at least on the country charts

Just think of the lyrics that you could come up with......

All proceeds could go to the "Let's get Allen Steere to retire to Bornea" club

BTW, Native Texans hate the "hick" reference

Maybe something more...."Southern Belle",

Like...Bless her heart--she's gone tick wild from Lyme (A bodice ripper)

Or, my personal favorite:

Minds' aside.... she has lyme!! (Story about a local small town gal who catches her cheatin husband with his mistress, and she kills em' at the scene of the crime... and you know the lyme made her do it!!!!)
