Keep being told about and read alot about Collodial Silver anybody got good or bad stories regarding use of this. I have done a little research but it seems to depend on where you look or who you ask??

I didn't read any of tree's sites, but am relating this to you on my late Dad.
Dad took this for his macular degeneration. Eye specialists highly recommend this.
Now after Dad's death going on 5 yrs. ago, and my undx lyme disease diagnosis for 34 years; I feel Dad had CHRONIC lyme from age 7 to his death at 86!

I used it for a couple of months with no link to any improvement and stopped. I don't think it is the answer for most people - likely not even part of the answer.

I have done some very basic invitro experiments. They were not all that scientific, but they were done against a control, which was enough to convince me that silver can kill bacteria.
I have not and I do not know of anyone who has actually drunk the stuff though. It does matter how you make it and with what materials IMO. You have to limit the current through the water to under 1ma to get a small particle size and you should use pure de-ionised water.
On the flip side, many have had bad experiences of silver. Like Cave says, talk it over with your doc.

(food poisoning); Shigella boydii (violent food poisoning); Salmonella arizona (food poisoning); Salmonella typhimurium (food poisoning, enteric fever); 60 different strains of Salmonella choleraesuis (food posioning); Haemophiles influenzas (flu, ear infections); Klebsiella pneumoniae (pneumonia, meningitis, nosocomial infections--infections spread in hospitals); Klebsiella Oxytoca; 60 different strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (diphtheria-like illnesses, burn and cut infections, meningitis, pneumonia, etc.); Streptococcus pneumonia (pneumonia, meningitis, sinusitis, otitis media-ear infections); Streptococcus pyogenes (strep throat infections, skin infections, etc.); Streptococcus faecalis (urinary tract infections and endocarditis); Streptococcus mutans (a major cause of tooth decay); Streptococcus gordonii (tooth decay, also implicated in infective endocarditis-an infection of the heart valves); Enterobacter aerogenes (wound infections, urinary tract infections, bacteremia, and meningitis); Enterobacter cloacae (wound infections, urinary tract infections, bacteremia, and meningitis); Tuberculosis type B (tuberculosis is the number one human-killing bacteria world wide); S. cerevisiae var Yeast; Montrachet Yeast.
The ASAP Solution� has been able to kill every harmful bacteria that it has been tested against so far, at concentrations of 10 ppm or less. Jason Henrie, a masters student at UC Davis, after testing the ASAP Solution� against a number of yeasts, concluded, "It is evident that a single 10 ppm application could prevent the further growth of a small population of yeast for 24 hours, allowing one's immune system time to respond. Even more, multiple 10 ppm applications could conceivably prevent the growth of yeast indefinitely."
ASAP Solution� Beats Prescription Antibiotics In Tests
University researchers have released the results of a second round of testing, in which the ASAP Solution� was tested against one antibiotic from each of the five major prescription antibiotic groups. In the head-to-head independent tests against 15 different bacteria (like Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, E. coli, Salmonella, etc.), the researchers concluded, "The data suggests that American Silver's ASAP Solution� exhibits an equal or broader spectrum of activity than any one antibiotic tested."

Malaria Treatment

MIRACLE CURE ? Local company puts silver solution to the test

Back to American Silver D. Revelli ALPINE - An Alpine company has used the principles behind an old pioneer practice to create a new product it hopes will ease painful ailments. Keith Moeller is a vice president of American Silver, a company that is applying for a patent for its new mineral supplement called ASAP solution. ASAP stands for American Silver's Anti-bacterial Product. The new product uses the bacteria-killing principles of silver that pioneers used long ago. Moeller said the American settlers dropped silver dollars in their water barrels to kill bacteria. Today, American Silver has developed a way to suspend silver particles in purified water. The new ASAP solution was developed to solve health problems, Moeller said. He hopes his solution will be an alternative medical product for times when parents have been relying on antibiotics. At first, the solution was tested on family members of company representatives. Moeller's mother used the solution to kill a bronchial infection, he said. Moeller's son used it to stop the string of fevers that were running him down. Moeller said the company wanted verification of the anecdotal evidence it was seeing in favor of ASAP. David Revelli, a master's degree student in molecular biology at BYU, started talking to William Moeller, Keith's father and president of American Silver. Revelli then consulted Dr. Ron Leavitt, a microbiology and molecular biology professor at BYU. "I'm pretty skeptical," Leavitt said. "Utah's a hotbed for magic cures for everything." Leavitt and Revelli decided to study the solution. Leavitt said he was familiar with the medical uses of silver. His daughter had been badly burned as a child and used a cream made with silver salts. BYU's research began in the fall of 1998. Leavitt said he told William Moeller that he would have to accept the results the lab received. "Whatever we get is what you get," Leavitt said. What the research team got was information that surprised the scientists. The data showed the solution did kill a number of types of bacteria, and it killed them with very small amounts of silver. Test results American Silver created the ASAP solution about a year ago in Alpine, Keith Moeller said. The solution has only two ingredients: purified water and silver. "There's no chemicals, no additives of any kind," Moeller said. The highest concentration available to the public is 22 parts per million of silver, he said. Local residents have looked into what silver can do in water. Gerard Yates of Spanish Fork is a friend of Keith Moeller. Yates' 10-year-old son, Josh, completed a science fair project that showed silver does kill bacteria. Yates said his son used three samples of Provo River water mixed with bacteria. One sample was left untouched. Another had a silver dollar in it. The third contained silver particles released into the water, Yates said. Yates said his son found that the bacteria remained in the untouched sample, 90 percent was killed with the silver dollar and there was no bacteria left in the sample with silver particles. BYU's research team has been studying American Silver's solution at different concentrations. Leavitt said the solution was combined with a number of bacterial strains that represented a broad spectrum of bacteria that can cause human disease. Revelli said the lab tested each organism a minimum of three times on separate days. He had other people reproduce his results. Revelli and Leavitt have signed a paper that states their results. A solution with 5 parts per million of silver or less has killed at least 12 types of bacteria. The solution killed staphylococcus aureus, which can cause pneumonia, meningitis and toxic shock syndrome. It killed salmonella arizona, which causes food poisoning. The solution destroyed E. coli and streptococcus pneumoniae and pyogenes, two forms of strep bacteria that cause ear infections and strep throat. Revelli said researchers have compared the solution to tetracycline, an antibiotic. The ASAP solution worked as well as or better than tetracycline on all the bacteria strains, Leavitt said. The scientists also compared the ASAP solution to three other products on the market. ASAP worked better than all of them, Leavitt said. Revelli and Leavitt said they were surprised by the test results. "To say I was surprised was a dramatic understatement," Leavitt said. Selling the product Revelli is preparing his initial data for publication. Leavitt said BYU's work would then be open for scientific review. Scientific research allows the Moellers to make certain statements about the ASAP solution. American Silver can say that the scientists have shown that ASAP has killed a number of types of bacteria. The new solution is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, however. "We will continue to do more testing until we have data to present to the FDA, but that will be years from now," Moeller said. Leavitt said approval for a new product can take about 10 years and millions of dollars. The lack of FDA approval prohibits Moeller from saying ASAP cures illnesses. "He cannot put on the bottle that it's a treatment for anything," Leavitt said. For now, American Silver is selling the product as a mineral supplement. The ASAP solution can be purchased at the Internet site, http://www.amsilver.com. An 8-fluid-ounce bottle of 10 ppm solution is $24.95. A similar-sized bottle of 22 ppm solution is $34.95. Smaller bottles are also available. The price includes shipping and handling, Moeller said. More research Research on the ASAP solution continues at more than one university. A lab at the University of California at Davis is studying the solution. The lab has shown that the product inhibits the growth of yeast, Moeller said. At BYU, Revelli studies the solution full time. He is comparing the product to a number of antibiotics. Leavitt said BYU is considering additional research that will use mice colonies for the study of the solution's potential anti-inflammatory properties. He said another study would test the solution's effect on viruses. Even more, Leavitt said he wants to see if any bacterial strains are resistant to silver. There are now types of staphylococcus bacteria and tuberculosis that are resistant to antibiotics, he said. Leavitt stressed that people tried to warn physicians years ago about overusing antibiotics. Moeller said he thinks his solution might be a way for parents to save the antibiotics for times when their children are really sick and need them. "Our goal is not to replace antibiotics for life-threatening diseases," Moeller said. "Our goal is to provide a solution to parents and people in general to use on things like ear infections and cankers, small problems that are really troublesome."
