Hey every one. Has anyone gotten well with only taking orals for neuro lyme? I have been on orals now for 2 years and wondering if this is ever going to work for me. Anyone else had success? Thanks, Robin in Houston

Mine got much, much better when I stopped abx. I only took orals. That's not to say that I'm 100% better, but the neuro symptoms disappeared.

It depends on the doses and combinations you are on! What are you taking, or have you taken, and for how long? The protocol has to be strong enough, co-infections must be checked for, and there are many other factors. Orals work well for most of us! It took me 3 years on them to feel better.

Wondering the same thing about neuro lyme and wellness. Is it possible on orals? Seems like some days encephalitis and facial palsy are just a tic away. Oops! I meant facial tic. Anyone else feel like that after a year and a half on abx? What has worked the best for you?

It took 2.5 years of orals to get rid of the neuro lyme. I had done 3 months of IV rocephin previously which only intensified the neuro lyme.
It was discovered later that I had RMSF too, which rocephin doesn't get but the long term tetra apparently did.
A couple of months of diflucan alone really brought my mental sharpness back.
My son, without RMSP or IV has recovered from neuro lyme with 2.5 years of orals and then several months of diflucan too.
Are we completely well? I don't think so, but much better then we expected at this point.
