After 3 miscarriages, an infected PICC Line and 5 days in the hospital, I decided to have the PICC Line inserted again today. No sooner that I walk out of the hospital from getting it done, I get a call from my doctors office with my bloodwork results from the day before. I'm pregnant, again. I have spoken with two doctors today and one says do not start treatment and the other says do. So, what's the answer? I go for a sonogram in the am to see if everything is okay so far. Please help!!!!!

Hello,

I am very sorry what you are going through.

I was diagnosed with Lyme in 2002. One day after seeing an LLMD, I found out I was pregnant as well. It was my second pregnancy that year, the first one ended in a miscarriage. I was on oral antibiotics the whole time. It was a rough pregnancy with Lyme and kidney stones, but all ended well.
My son will be 3 soon and since being born -he was never on antibiotics and is very healthy. It was a scary experience, but I was advised to treat and I am glad I did.
I am now 6 months pregnant again and on antibiotics. This time around my symptoms are very minimal.
I wish you that everything turns out well for you this time around!
