I know this is an old thread but I thought I would share.
My ASO Titre has been between 500-700 for the last couple of years. Currently it is in the 400s.
This is the reason I was diagnosed with Rheumatic Fever even though my Lyme WB was positive.
One year later the ID Dr. told me my ASO will always be high because I an a strep carrier.
Then goes on to say...hmmm....I don't understand why you keep getting RF (recurring symptoms). This isn't normal. You must have a deficiency in your immune system.
Geesh.....

I have the same issue cantgiveupyet. My titer is where yours is. My ID doc treated with Clindamcyin for 10 days, but it didn't take the titer down. I don't know what an elevated ASO titer truly means. 99% of regular docs as always cared less when I told them and their eyes glazed.
Maybe it's nothing....SOS.
Cured? Who the hell knows when you supposedly have Bb, Babs, Bart, EBV, and whatever other guesses. lol

My LLMD diagnosed me with systemic strep at the same time I was diagnosed with LD.
I don't know how high my titres were and don't know if it is gone or not.
Something is not gone!

Do a search for what people are using for biofilm. I know there was a discussion on this before. Sometimes you can't get rid of the strep without doing a biofilm protocol.

I think its like everything else with Lymies we
need more research results. You know to say all
test pos. for somethings would be saying the test
is useless. Lost dollars.
