Yes-maybe I should call. I have had bad stomach problems lately. I just had to take some rolaids which I don't even know if you are supposed to take with antibiotics?
The doxy never really bothered me before..could it be that I always had the doryx (generic)?
Thanks

Minerals should be taken at least 2 hours away from antibiotics.
Most minerals bind with some forms of abx. To be safe, I always seperate all my minerals and abx by 2 hours.
I believe Plaquenil is ok with Doxy. I always take my Plaquenil with my abx, but never hurts to ask.
If the Tums has calcium, you want to take it 2 hours away from the abx.

I came across this:
Side effects from milk thistle happen only rarely, but may include stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, rash or other skin reactions, joint pain, impotence, and anaphylaxis (a life-threatening allergic reaction that causes throat tightness, shortness of breath, and, possibly, loss of consciousness.) The last two reactions listed are extremely rare.
Milk Thistle can cause nausea, vomiting, headache & joint pain? I didn't know that.

hmm- I wonder if my current weird shortness of breath problems have anything to do with the milk thistle? I take 4 a day- Or just another weird lyme symptom?
