My CD57 score was a mere 5 in October of 2006. Ugh!

CD57 meant nothing with me, didn't correlate, but with my daughter it was always dead on!!! When she was on Mepron it would be about 60 but if she went off it would plummet to 3 or 4 or once, 0!!! Whenever she went off it would go below 10!!!!!!! Then when it normalized, she also finally tested negative on Babesia and was taken off and it stayed normal!!!!!! We tried to take her off Mperon a few times when she was still bloood positive for Babs because she would be doing so well we hoped her immune system would handle it- but every time she crashed!!!!!!!!

Melatonin downregulates NK cells and NO production (some enzymes are downregulating this too).
In lyme, the Th1 pathway is being upregulated.
In HIV, the Th2 pathway is being upregulated.
Ever notice how you feel better after fighting a virus?
Think about why.
In lyme, Bb uses Mn. In HIV, the virus uses Mg. In lyme, zinc goes up. In HIV, zinc goes down. In lyme, copper goes down. In HIV, copper goes up. In lyme, too many T cells. In HIV, not enough T cells. In lyme, the blood is too thick. In HIV, the blood is too thin. In lyme, I suspect, too few beta cells. In HIV, too many beta cells. In lyme, too much melatonin. In HIV, too little melatonin.
T cells are white blood cells that originate from the thymus. B cells are white blood cells that originate from the bone marrow.
Kinda amazing, isn't it?
Now, wanna talk about color light therapy? Red downregulates the Th1 pathway and blue downregulates the Th2 pathway. Blue is "stronger" than red, by a LOT.

Mine was 6 back in the spring of 2005. I don't know what it is now.

I was diagnosed this past June. At that time my CD57 level was 5. I was just checked again and now it is a 2.

Wow everyones test scores are so low. Marnie, are you saying that melatonin actually lowers the CD57 score? My doctor has me taking a small amt when I am having trouble sleeping. I haven't gotten my test results back but it will be intersting to see.

I had my first CD-57 test after 6 months of lyme treatment. It was 20. On the nineth month it was almost 60. Matches pretty well with my symptoms
