6 months into treatment I had a couple of weeks where I could not walk around the block.
Just prior to this period I was doing a lot of power walks up to 80 min a day with no problem.
I also had a lot of limb issues with some of the same that you described. I thought I was headed to a wheelchair. Scared the crap out of me. It passed and became much better.
I had one other time like this also, it passed.
Hang in there, it will get better.

Bilateral sensory loss and numbness in forearms is a neuroborreliosis marker. I have this. Abnormal SSEP (absent cortical responses in forearms) combined with other stuff led to original MS misdiagnosis.
However, it is definitely a Lyme thing.
Lyme bacteria can also attack the myelin sheath surrounding nerves, mimicking MS' destruction.
Keep treating. But definitely let your LLMD know. If you were not already on Rocephin IV, I should think he might consider it.

Kendrick,
It is very common to get new symptoms as you start treatment. The antibiotics are hitting the bacteria, and it causes a herx reaction.
This most likely means that you have Lyme somewhere in your nervous system. You are on abx, which means you are doing your best to get rid of the illness.
I would mention this to your doctor though. There are some abx that can cause nerve damage. I know Flagyl and Azithromycin are two of them. So I would check that with your doctor to see if it could be a side effect of the medication.
