Hi all, I am not on meds yet, (1st LLMD on 3/28) but every once and awhile in the last few months my cheeks will get really hot and bright red (little puffy) and my neck will get red patchy splotches. It is not related to eating, and goes away in about an hour. Any ideas? I have noticed that it usually comes after a have been relatively symptom free for awhile, and then I get slammed in about 24hrs. Anyone?
Blessings!

My chin does this--gets red, hot and a little puffy. My nose flushes bright red and splotchy, too, but unlike rosacea, my cheeks aren't affected. I don't know what causes it. It happens as a symptom, and when I'm taking ABX.

they call it flushing - my daughter gets it in her cheeks: very red & feel hot. Comes and goes. LLMD used this as one definite symptom in their diagnosis of Lyme.
