I just called them again!!! I figured if they got enough calls that there would be some response.
I was told that this would air as "Bitter Sweet" on the Discovery "Health" Channel on Friday, June the 8th at 10 PM.
I hope this is true please check it out: )
I don't know if I get that channel However please copy it everyone : )

The store for the parent company of the channels (plural) says they do not carry videos or DVDs of this particular show, meaning Mystery ER in general, not the specific program "Ring of Fire."
However the representative said if enough people call to ask, that they may consider making it available. I expressed my appreciation, thanks, and gratitude for the accuracy.
I will be calling tomorrow after 9 AM Eastern DAYLIGHT Time to ask for Viewer Relations and then expressing my compliments and asking them to make the show publicly available on DVD/CD and Video for sale.
If you would wish to express the same, call 1-800-938-0333 and ask for VIEWER RELATIONS, according to the representative I spoke to.
Jeannine
Thank you Jeannine!
I have contacted the producers of the show. They have set up an email address specifically for the purpose of thanks and comments. Here it is!
If you wish to request that a copy of the show be made for sale, contact the Discovery channel as shown above.
You may also email customer relations to request a video. Follow this link, and the questions on the screen...filling in the info required. When I got to the program screen, I had to enter "other" since Mystery ER was not on the list since it is a mini-series. When you get to the comments screen, write in "Mystery ER" Ring of Fire Lyme disease show. And make your request. Here is the link to email Discovery http://extweb.discovery.com/viewerrelations
I cannot mass distribute copies for obvious reasons and copyright laws.
If enough requests are received, hopefully a copy will be made for sale from Discovery.
I have just been notified that the program will re-air in the future. The Lyme story is titled the "Ring of Fire." It will once again air, as part 2 of "Bittersweet." So look for "Bittersweet" in your listings! I do not have the exact date yet, so stay tuned.

That was me in the show. I am sensitive to the sun big time and also lived in a closet for awhile. Good show.

Laura the show was GREAT! I did not check LN first but got an email from a friend so I had no idea the story was about you.
So at the end when your smiling face was on our TV screen I shrieked to my husband...IT'S LAURA!!!!
I think it was a wonderful segment...just wished when they said that you are now able to go back to hiking and participating in those activities that you love they had made the time to educate people about tick bite prevention and how to remove a tick properly...but I know they only had so much time.
I am glad you are having better days and have regained your life. You are a brave warrior woman!

thanks all!
When I saw it I think it was called "awakening the beast", not sure but it was definately the second half after "bittersweet".
I hope I get that channel before it comes 'round again. (I went to a friend's and would have liked to see it over. Ok, and the end was cut off because the DVR was set funny, I guess.)

It will re-air June 8-9th as posted above. The title is "Ring of Fire" and Awakening the Beast is just the title for the first section, not the name of the show. The program will follow "Bittersweet" so look for that title. Make sense? Thanks guys!

Mystery ER not Mystery Diagnosis! Unfortunately Discovery Health has no listing or reference to this episode. I cannot find out anything about it except on IMDB where they list the actors.
Frustrating.
I'll see if I can set up Tivo to find it. If I ever do, I'll record it.

Wild Condor - I saw your episode a couple of yrs ago - when I had the "CFS" diagnosis and truly it was after watching your episode that I was stunned - and voila - here I am.
You have been a true inspiration to all on this board and elsewhere, when I am feeling up to it I hope to read your story in print.
Keep up the fabulous work you do here and pleeease continue to be our "spokesperson" since we (at least I) have no voice to speak of right now.
All the best thru medical school, yay!!
