I lost half my hair last year. It has finally started to grow back, but is more like horse hair than human hair. Don't get me wrong, I love horses, but I don't want hair like theirs. Does anyone know something I can take to help it? It is very coarse and wiry. (it also seems to be growing back in every direction!) I tried taking flaxseed oil for a little while.

That can be a symptom of thyroid or other hormone issues. Google it. [sorry, that's all I know!!] -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!

Dear Lioness, Yikes!!!! My neighbor, who has Lyme also, lost a lot of her hair. LLMD determined hypothyroidism (via bloodwork) and put her on thyroid medication. Her hair is no longer falling out and is growing back. (She's been on this med for about 3 weeks) Check with your LLMD. Hugs, Geneal
