Hi Kayda,

I just started taking iodine last month. I started with detoxified iodone, but am now taking Lugol's Solution which is a combination of iodine and iodide. I am not familiar with the kind that you mentioned.

I really feel like it's helping in a lot of ways, although the herx (from fluorine and bromine) can be quite strong but seems to be helped by taking salt and vitamin C, oddly enough.

Hi,

I have Lugol's iodine, but the dr. said to take this other one for some reason. I can't remember.

Interesting enough, I am currently taking Salt & Vitamin C therapy. Is that what you're dong?

Hi Kayda,

Nope, I'm not doing Salt/C therapy. I tried it before, and it was too harsh on my system. Plus it made parts of me squirm most uncomfortably. I think it angered a parasite of some sort living under the skin on my head who I have since named Donald. But I digress....lol

I am only taking SAlt/C to ameliorate the bromine/fluorine etc. detox. It really helps, but I am taking much smaller doses than would be required for Salt/C protocol, hopefully not enough to re-awaken Donald-on-my-head. [bonk]

How are you liking the iodine so far?

Alison

I am taking the promoline Iodine. I was energenically tested at a dose of 8 pills a day when I first started. Now only 3 to 4 a day.
