I just started taking iodine last month. I started with detoxified iodone, but am now taking Lugol's Solution which is a combination of iodine and iodide. I am not familiar with the kind that you mentioned.
I really feel like it's helping in a lot of ways, although the herx (from fluorine and bromine) can be quite strong but seems to be helped by taking salt and vitamin C, oddly enough.

Nope, I'm not doing Salt/C therapy. I tried it before, and it was too harsh on my system. Plus it made parts of me squirm most uncomfortably. I think it angered a parasite of some sort living under the skin on my head who I have since named Donald. But I digress....lol
I am only taking SAlt/C to ameliorate the bromine/fluorine etc. detox. It really helps, but I am taking much smaller doses than would be required for Salt/C protocol, hopefully not enough to re-awaken Donald-on-my-head.
How are you liking the iodine so far?

I am taking the promoline Iodine. I was energenically tested at a dose of 8 pills a day when I first started. Now only 3 to 4 a day.
