Cruising through Money magazinge I found this in their health report section. Sorry, I don't know how to scan and then post so you'll have to bear with my typing of the blurb. Can't show the guy's pic which was next to the text.

"It Didn't Work for Him"
William Mc Gill, 57
Long Island, NY

Frustrated by the side effects of his medications for Hepatitis C, William Mc Gill poked around some alternative medicine websites. He read that colloidal silver could weaken the hold the virus had on his liver. At worst, Mc Gill thought, it wouldn't work and he'd be out the $300 he'd have to spend. So for more than six weeks, he drank up. "I felt good and looked good," says Mc Gill. Then a blood test showed that his viral count had more than doubled. "Some of these non-FDA regulated products contain alcohol and steroid substitutes, which cause the virus to replicate," says Dr. Melissa Palmer, a liver specialist in Plainview, New York. "They can also include substances like iron that may make you feel better but can be liver toxic." Mc Gill quit and returned to medication prescribed by Palmer. His viral count is down again. --AG

Their are far more references than Tom Grier's,that state different.
AS i stated, you have to make your own.So it holds the electric charge.etc.
As far as the ones you are saying it didn't help, please give us the percentage of who made there own.
Big difference.
I know many it has helped, some dont even come here anymore. They got better.
I would have to say that yes,it will help alot if you make your own,and it might not help some.
And i wouldn't even buy it from a store,internet,etc.

Here are the plans to make your own generator,it cost under 20 dollars. After makeing the generator, silver only cost about 2 dollars a month to make.
http://www.lightwatcher.com/makingcolloidalsilver/make_a_silver_generator.html

And at this site there is lots of information, and you get the whole silver makeing kit for 15 dollars.

My wife and I have been making and using low ppm colloidal silver for about 8 years. We both have completely avoided routine colds and flu for exactly that period of time. Coincidence? Probabilities would say no.

My wife and I are virtually certain that CS works against common viral and bacterial infections. I will discuss my use of colloidal silver vs. my Lyme infection below. My wife, because of her profession, is exposed to a multitude of viral and bacterial infections, moreso than I, but sleeping with her brings all of hers to me.

I have met dozens to hundreds of people on the internet who also swear that colloidal silver works.

The only person I have met one-on-one, in person who even uses colloidal silver is a very highly regarded chiropractor in the town where I live. Like myself, he has made low ppm colloidal silver for himself and his family, and both he and they also swear that it works for them. I had to bring the subject up with him as he does not sell or promote colloidal silver probably in part because he fears that the bad press that colloidal silver receives might reflect on his good name and reputation.

Like my wife and myself, none of the people whom I have encountered have any reasons, financial or otherwise, to promote the use of colloidal silver.

Colloidal silver is a sitting duck for detractors since there is no money to be made (thus, no money to defend against the bad press) in the colloidal silver arena.

Having just been diagnosed with Lyme in April, 2007, by an LLMD, I now have a clearer idea of the impact which I feel that colloidal silver has had on my disease. From the initial infection in August, 1992, I had a recurring flu-like infection which hit me every few weeks. After beginning to make and drink colloidal silver in 1999, that recurring infection has not recurred again.

My wife feels sincerely that I would be in a wheelchair by now if not for the colloidal silver. She very well could be right about that. After meeting some people in the waiting room of the LLMD who were severely afflicted by Lyme, I became aware of how extremely fortunate I am.

The information seems to be extremely limited about the use of CS vs. Lyme. I had great hopes when I bought a book called, "The Micro Silver Bullet," by Dr. M. Paul Farber, only to be disappointed once again. If colloidal silver can eradicate recurring flu-like infections, as it did in my case, there must be some possible treatment beyond the low ppm CS which might help myself and others to experience more dramatic improvements.

If anyone has any pointers to websites, books, etc., which might be of help, please, please, please post them here or send me a personal message.

Thanks very much for listening, and best of luck to all.

Dave

P.S., How about the silver coverings built into countertops and the silver thread stitched into clothing supposedly for antimicrobial purposes? I guess the anti-silver crowd would explain that the "Placebo Effect" works in mysterious ways.
