I am likely to start Rocephin next week. I ahve serious CNS / ALS symptom presentation of lyme. I did the orals (zith / difulcan / malarone), made me progress real quickly so i stopped.

I've read, i need to be on the rocephin, so called my LLMD, i'm sure he will start me on this. He said i ahve babesia also, but what besides malarone can this be treated with?

I read the kari mayne story and she had bacillin shots? What is this for?

Please give me advise what to ask for in my appt. next week, i've got to get this giong in the right direction.

I'm sorry, I don't understand ... you were progressing quickly so you stopped the medications that were working?

Mepron can also be used for babs with Zith or Biaxin. Artemisia is a good herb to take along with the Mepron.

Before all of this lyme, we tought i had ALS. I have all the symptoms of it, but, the ALS clinic ruled it out, lyme and babesia was ruled in by LLMD.

The zitro and Mepron, made my twitches kick into overdrive seriously. I was dizzy, ears ringing very badly, much worse than before and i started muscle wasting really badly, like in a few weeks of wasting waht it took me 6 months not on the abx. I didn't know if it was a herx, but it wasn't going away.

I'm going to try IV Rocephin, as according to most, the ALS presentation of lyme usu. requires IV Rocephin and the orals make it worse. That's what happened to me. My major question is the Mepron is for babesia...but, it messed me up. what should i ask the LLMD for, is tere any suggestions? Does the Rocephin kill the babesia too, or is it just mepron?
