Wondering if any of you get hemorriods? They really itch and now are quite painful too....I'm not constipated, rather quite the opposite...
I just added Mepron into my combo of Onmicef and Zithro......could it be killing the buggers?yeast?
I just pulled out my 'Digestive Wellness' book by E. Lipski, and she said that rectal itching can be caused by food sensitivities, fungi, bacteria, parasite, and antibiotcs too....but why the hemorrhoids..I'm only 22...
I don't really understand it, but it's sure uncomfortable...wondering if I'm alone on this one?
Any insight?

"Successful control and elminiation of a Candida Albicans overgrowth requires a multifaceted program as described below. Failure to follow ALL the steps simultaneously will result in slow progress and will lengthen healing time significantly. The program should be tailored to the individual and must balance the need to eliminate the Candida and deprive it of its food source while insuring proper nutrition for the individual."
Five Steps to Candida Elimination:
1. You must starve it into submission by eliminating its food source.
2. You must kill it with anti-fungal herbs and supplements. [e.g....garlic, onion, caprylic acid, Pau D'Arco capsules or tea, clove, grapefruit seed extract, olive leaf extract, oil of oregano, tea tree oil, Echinacea, Goldenseal, black walnut, MSM, barberry root, uva ursi, neem leaf, biotin]
3. You must reestablish the proper balance and quantity of probiotic bacteria in the digestive tract. [...multi-strain lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidus capsules with FOS should be taken between meals to maximize repopulation of the digestive tract by beneficial bacteria.]
4. You must reestablish proper levels of all B vitamins (yeast free) and utilize other immune enhancing supplements to boost immune system function. [e.g ... B complex vitamins (yeast free), biotin, beta 1-3 glucan, colostrum, maitake mushroom, vitamins A, C, E, zinc and selenium]
5. You must cleanse and heal the digestive tract to promote proper elimination of toxins and Candida and assimilation of nutrients. [e.g...chlorophyll, MSM, omega 3 fatty acids found in flax seed and salmon oils, GLA found in borage, evening primrose and black currant oils. Pantothenic acid, digestive enzymes between meals]

sixgoofykids- thanks...this may seem like a elementary question...what exactly is Preparation H? is it natural?
Lymetoo- yes, 5 guidelines are great...thank you!!! I'm doing ALL them, except #2 I could take more...
my diet is SO pure...I've eliminated all sugars, sweets, fruits, and other sweet foods...even beets and carrots....no gluten, no dairy, no soy....I pretty much eat raw organic veggies, homemade beans, dhal, nori wraps, salads and hummus....plus some brown rice...and raw nuts too...yuuummm
The one that I'm lacking a bit is #2...I should start some other antifungal herbs again....I'm taking lots of garlic and raw too......I stopped some others cause the supplement list was CRAZY..trying to figure out what was helping...
all the others I take em all...
good suggestion...thanks...its always a good reminder...I tend to take things for awhile and then drift off it to see if it's doing anything....
James- is it Lyme related ?? hereditary? antibiotics killing the Babs? whats your thoughts? I've never had them till Lyme...???

I have suffered with them for years, since my early 20's.
My dad suffers too, so I thought it was genetic.
They were good for a while, then got worse as I started treatment....?
I am on super restricted diet as well
I started adding some herbs for roids I looked up on the internet. Don't really think I found the answer yet as I am still having trouble.
I go through a lot of wipes and hydrocortisone cream (its always in my purse).
I also find the tucks suppositories helpful.
I would recommend to NOT use the Prep H suppositoires, as they have some kind of oil in them that "leaks" out and stained my clothes (how embarrassing!)
Get a donut to sit on and use a sitz bath with epsom salt when its real bad. Also, witch hazel helps.
Good luck!

I'm not talking about Preparation H itself, but the wipes. They are like baby wipes and found near the laxatives. The primary ingredient is witch hazel.
These were recommended to my hubby by his doctor ... and hubby hasn't had a problem with his hemmorhoids since ... except when we ran out of them.
Quite honestly, I like them, too. You really realize how rough TP actually is!

Here is a tip I got from a Marine Corp doctor. Get the big blue enema bulb from Wallgreens. Use luke warm water and vaseline. Your roids will soon heal up. Works much better than laxatives which can be toxic to your system. I have used this for years.
The enema.com web site have all kinds of gadgets and the blue bulb in case Wallgreens is out of them..
