Okay everybody, this is kind of an embarrassing issue, but I am concerned.

I want to know if anyone else has had any issues with their stools being green??

I have had it happen on occasion in the past, especially when I eat green veggies or spaghetti sauce, but this has been going on for 3 days now.

I did some research and found that green stool, if nothing out of the ordinary has been eaten, can be caused by the everything going thru the large intestine too fast and can be common in someone with IBS, which I have, along with most other Lymies..

So, is this something that anyone else has experienced or should I be more concerned??

Thanks
Ellen

My friend has this and has been diagnosed with IBS and possible leakygut syndrome.

Recently her doc tested her for C-diff to rule out this dangerous infection.

Have you contacted your llmd?

Have you had any purple juice of any kind? My son did this when he was little and the Pediatrician taught us that it was caused by drinking purple or eating purple foods and drinks.

Have you been taking anything that is supporting liver drainage? If so it could be a big liver/gall dump.

Ellen...

There is a condition you can get from biaxin, e-mycin, or zithromax called pseudo-something-or-another colitis. Sorry I cannot come up with the name right now BUT if you are on one of these, tell your doc immediately. Because you will have to go off and then switch. It will cause greasy green stool, and sometimes watery.

Had this.

Good luck.
