Differential efficacy of drug combinations in the elimination of Babesia infection in humans Combination of drugs Daily dosage (mg) Weeks after treatment Babesia detected in patient by Giemsa-stained blood smears Hamster inoculation


Combination A
Clindamycin plus quinine--
Daily Dosage Clindamycin 1200mg
quinine 1950mg
Weeks 2=positive 4=pos 8=pos 12=pos

Combination B
Azithromycin plus quinine
Daily Dosage Azithromycin 1000mg, Quinine 1950mg
Weeks 2=Negative 4=Neg 8=Neg 12=Neg


A 10-day course of therapy with combination A was given and combination B was administered for another 10 consecutive days two months after initial treatment, and hamsters inoculated with 1 ml of the patient's blood were used to verify the clearance of babesial infection.


Looks like that cured it?
Camp B wins combination B !!!!

Flagyl + ketek.

Flagyl has antiparasitic properties and is used by my LLMD to treat babesia.

I just went on gassers treatment...roxy (buy from assie or new zeal or india) blister sealed. and bactrim and I feel the area around my head and face that used to itch from the babs strange feelings there and I think its killing it. roxy crosses in the bbb immediatly.

Don't these just push it into its tissue stage, though?

Really, we don't know the half of what goes on with

haemoprotozoan infections. I just read yesterday that they found

two new stages in the life cycle of P. Falciparum (or maybe they

were just states that it goes into during treatment--it wasn't really

clear.)
