I was pulsing Flagyl last thurs, Fri and Sat and on Sat I felt really good. I wake up Sunday morning and bang, I have vertigo. I also have it today too.
I've not had vertigo in over a yr at the SAME time!

I'm not sure if this is a herx, or something that can happen after flagyl or just a stroke of bad luck.

My ears feel full and the ringing in my ears is worse. Infection? Prob not with all the abx?

Any input?

so am I the only unlucky sucker to get vertigo?!

I'm thinking it wasn't the flagyl and maybe it's some sort of virus. I've never been so dizzy

I get vertigo that comes and goes. For me it seems to happen when I am extremely tired.

Vertigo and various forms of dizziness are often reported on this board, so you are not alone. I think herx can provoke pretty much any of the symptoms commonly reported. Vertigo/dizziness is my toughest symptom, so can I relate. I've never found a good solution for it.

I would think it's a herx. Flagyl can really get into the brain.

I sure hope it goes away SOON!!!!!! [group hug]

hmmm, so you think it's a herx from Flagyl. I hope that's what it is.
I swear though, it feels like inflammation in my head like viral.

Thanks all :-)

Your guess is as good as mine! Herxing causes inflammation. That's for sure.

Hope it passes soon!

You should check to make sure Flagyl can't be ototoxic. If it is, your vertigo and ear ringing might be that, and you need to stop taking it. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about possible ototoxicity.
