I started heparin and tindamax about a month ago. After a week I was herxing bad----I was having generalized muscle jerking(totally new symptom), clenched jaws, chills/tinglins sensations in legs, muscles of thighs,abdomen,chest felt real warm like I had deep heat on and my feet burned, totally no energy and on the couch too, but the extreme fatigue is always with me. so I cut back on the tindamax to 1/2 tab once daily and I'm suppose to take 1/2 tab 3 times daily.
It's now 2 wks later and I still have the clenching, deep heat feeling in muscles, not as much of the chill/tingling sensation, exhausted with no motivation but the muscle twitching has stopped. I'd twitch so bad my foot or hand would jerk. Kind of scarey.... Would you guys increase the tindamax or not? This is sooo hard I just want it to be over with.
Just what does tindamax do? Is it for Lyme? Cyst buster or what? I'm up to 7,000 units of heparin twice daily.
Can any of you relate to these symptoms? I was Igenex positive but still have fears maybe something else is wrong or being missed. I've been real sick for 8 yrs, dignosed with Lyme in June 08 but have probably had it 30 plus years. I haven't made any real progress since starting treatment in June but herxing a lot.
