How long were you treated for Bart with azith & rifampin? I have been treated for 2 months and feel pretty good. Curious how long this usually lasts.
Thanks

I have not heard of these two abx being used in combo myself, but if it is working that is great.
Bart has a way of "relapsing" in some people, took me over a year to beat it on biaxin.

I took biaxin for several months w/ mepron and then switched to azith/mepron.
It has worked for me and my hubby. Just uncertain how long we should be doing this. Neither of us have many side effects. I took levaquin previously and it took months to get over the pain that caused. It worked quickly but I had many side effects with it.

I was treated for FOUR months using Rifampin/Doxy/Biaxin. I believe Azith would have been in the mix instead of Biaxin accept that Azith and my stomach did not get along.
I did this combo for four months. Helped me immenseley. But I'm pretty sure it did not get rid of my Bartonella totally either, as I still have at least 6 or so symptoms of it.
