Typically speaking, what ABX are typically used to treat lyme and / or co-infections?

Is there a running match-up list somewhere? Just curious. I've seen in various posts here and there thing like Biaxin was for bartonella... I'm sure there will be some overlap.

I can give you a very "basic" outline of antibiotic protocols and then you can do a search on each one as there's tremendous variations and it would be impossible to list them all.

Not to mention all of the herbal treatments (Cowden protocol, Buhner Protocol, Marshall Protocol) and alternative treatments (Colloidal Silver, Samento, Hyperbaric Oxygen, Rife Machines, accupuncture). I highly recommend the website: wildcondor.com
click on Lyme Links for ALL of this info

Lyme: Biaxin & plaquenil, doxy, tetracycline, IV Rocephin, (IV abx in general),IM bicillin, ceftin, cipro, zithromax

Lyme cyst busters: Flagyl, tindamax, plaquenil

Bartonella: Rifampin & Zithro, Rifampin & doxy, Rifampin & Mino, Levaquin & other abx, Cipro, Biaxin

Ehrlichia: Rifampin (not well versed on this one)

Babesia: Mepron, Zithromax, artermisae

Basically, what this shows you is that each tick borne illness has a different treatment protocol so I would do a search under each infection and then you'll get plenty of info!

Sorry for just tidbits but the list of options are growing as I type!

Best,

Singleton's new lyme book details these very nicely.

The Lyme Disease Solution (Kenneth B. Singleton, M.D., M.P.H.)
