Too funny. I am also interested in hearing how vancomycin works as a Lyme cure... my LLMD mentioned trying it next - he told me there was an LLMD in Florida that put his patients on long term vanco IV and says it cures most of them! So let's hope that's what happens here.
But the vanco's on hold because he wants to try one other of the newer abx's first.
So I'll be watching for your updates (and hopefully we can trade success stories)

I have just crossed the 2 month mark of treatment. I had to be put on IV doxy temporarly because of such severe herxing from the IV vancomycin. I will go back on it soon and do 2 more months of it. I am continuing the IM Bicillin weekly as well.
My circulation has improved, I have more color, some days I have more energy, and everynow and then I will feel "decent" not great but decent... Still such a long ways to go
Insurance ended up paying for my first month of treatment, so that was good.
I am still in the herx storm that continues to go on and on but it is not quite as bad. I need atleast 3 more months of treatment, so I am looking at 5-6 months total for treatment.

Hi Byron,
you are a dogged fighter with lots of heart, hang in there.
You know, I've never met you..., but you seem kinda sexy! Are you single?
