My husband is taking IV Rocephin for 6 days and IV Flagyl for the seventh day each week. We have noticed that for a couple of days after taking the Flagyl, he feels really depressed. Is this a common complaint with Flagyl?

I haven't taken it ... but from what I've noted, seems most folks do.

Hopefully others will be along to give you more help.

Yes, very much so! But I just keep telling myself through the tears , " It's from the Flagyl".

If he can push through, it is worth it.

I had to back down on the dose as I experienced seizures with it. Not a common side effect so don't let me worry you.

I REALLY don't like to share on things I haven't done... but I've heard some nightmares about this stuff.. so I am really glad it matched what others felt using it.
