Anyone know how you would get the lab to send your blood to Igenex?

I have a friend who is having vertigo problems, so she went to a neurologist.

He is sending her for a MRI and some bloodwork. She told him she wants her blood sent to Igenex, he wasn't opposed, but he didn't know what to do.

She has the lab slip for Quest. What should she do?
Should I have her call Igenex Lab?

I'm not sure I'm the best one to know this, but thought I would bring it back up for others.

In my case, my LLMD did the lab work himself and sent the blood to Igenex. But I know others in my family saw a doctor that knows what is going on but does NOT want to be called a LLMD and he sent them to Labcorp to send the blood to Igenex.

Not all labs seem to know the procedure, but it seems this one does. But yes, you could also call Igenex for their best recommendations as well.

My only concern is will your friends neurologist know what to do with the results? I'd make sure she gets a copy of them and seeks a specialist.
