Jones' attys really will stop defending him if they can't be paid- they have to.
like everyone else, they have bills to pay and families to support and obligations that don't go away just because there is a hugely important battle going on.
from speaking to Dr. Jones and Mr. Pollack directly I can tell you that Jones' legal team is deeply committed to helping and defending him.
I have no doubt at all that the possibility of not being able to defend Dr. Jones anymore genuinely hurts Mr. Pollack.
I hope i am right about what seems to be happening-- that a tide of contributions is heading up that way..
none of us are wealthy and most of us are broke, but hopefully, hopefully, what we have sent and are sending will be enough to keep hope alive for awhile longer, even if it is not quite enough of what was required.
most of all, i pray that Dr. Jones understands we are all actively doing our best, and that he knows he is not alone in this time of his great need, as he has not allowed us or our children to feel alone when we needed him most.
