Well, done!
It's tough to believe that even in Connecticut they still don't "get it".
Hopefully this will raise more awareness. You were very articulate and did a super job.

Hi Monica,
You were wonderful--sincere, with lots of information and you presented our predicament very well.
Lets hope lots of ill people with Lyme (but they don't know it) see it. How could anyone watch that and not be moved?
Thank you so much!
(Honestly: You looked beautiful, yet tired. A Lymie!)

Wow! What a great interview. You were so natural and easy to identify with, and you got a lot of points across in a short time.
Your story is so very similar to what has happened to many of us. If every doctor could see this, maybe it would make a dent in the huge number of people being misdiagnosed over and over again.
Thanks Monica.

Thanks everyone. I was very nervous about the interview but the reporter was very nice. I know it is important to get as much publicity as we can to spark change...and provide incentive to help find a CURE. You guys always make me feel better! Thanks

That was wonderful, Monica, just awesome! I thought three things were especially effective:
one, that you have a science background, and nobody listened to you; two, that the CDC counts 11 infected in your town, while you can count 11 on your street! and three, that you were misdiagnosed over and over in Connecticut, where doctors should know better.
It speaks to how deeply Yale's influence penetrated. But no more.
Thanks, Shaz

Very, VERY, Well said. All we want, is help.Just Please help us. We got this "Bug-Bite", and we can-not fit in anymore. We hear about things that will work, but our Ins. keep turning us down. Evan when we get the "Real Test", and "Here's Proof", that were not looking for symonthy, were still turn'ed away. How loud do we need to scream, "HELP".................! But we look so good on the out side. "If They Only Knew".......How bad it's on the inside. Be-Ginning to think, were All in this togeather, and need to comfort each other, till it's over. It feels like, if yr a burdon, we dont have time for you. BUT, Wait, we neaver ask'ed for that "Little Bug Bite", but at that point, us Lyme-People, are put below, normal people, and have come to disposeiable flesh & blood, and no longer need'ed. If they look the other way, they dont see us................? When the CDC, Slam's the door in our face, it's over. Only hope we have, is to "scream-@-the Top of our Lung's, for a bit of compasion. IF, Only They Could Feel the Pain We Are Going Threw, On the Inside, Every Day, Something would be done Yesterday......................! Tex...................Out !

Monica, You were natural, beautiful and incredibly articulate. Very girl-next-door with a PhD. No way can you be 40!!!! I was thinking you barely looked 30!!!
Disturbing though that as I watched the video, ads streamed below for the Yale Medical Group, "best doctors in the world." A little irony there, methinks!

You were great Monica - what a good job! Thanks so much for putting yourself out there.
A touch of irony
- when I just watched your video now there was an animated banner ad for Yale Medicine saying "We are Top Docs" under the video of you running throughout the whole interview

remarkable that you talked off the top of your head, and it came from your heart in many places!! great job mentioning so many things!!
write your comments on this page! i did; you can also JUDGE THEM; give us good ratings!!!
i also commented on the yale banner underneath and they were the cause of the idsa drs. making us sicker ... misdiagnosing and UNDERTREATING ANTIBIOTICS, ETC.
MONICA, please copy your link of the video and my link for comments to SUPPORT forum where i started LYME VIDEOS ONLY COLLECTION ... ADD YOURS.
please show the LENGTH OF TIME it runs too and a brief summary of it showing your name in it will help many of us remember it, and add new haven, conn!
thanks so much!! will be nice when someone adds it to YOU TUBE for views/ratings too!!
God bless you Monica for speaking out for the entire lyme community on your live interview!! WELL DONE!

Excellent job :-) I really liked how you pointed out the money that could be made on a good reliable blood test. Also the potential for the drug companies to make money as well.
i agree, if you can go national with this one.

Excellent, Monica - I was thinking that if someone doesn't know much about what's going on, that it's easy to follow and understand what happened to you, and your points are good ones. I agree - I'd like to see you testify nationally!

Thanks Everyone. Someone asked what I sprayed the yard with. I have a company called CT Tick control come and spray the perimeter of the yard with Tempo. It is the least toxic of the list of approved pesticides. I am still not crazy about spraying anything but the risk/benefit ratio says SPRAY. The natural alternatives do not work well here. Maybe they will eventually make a really strong natural alternative that does the trick. Although I am joining Sixgoofykids with her cement the world club Love you guys Monica

LOVE IT!!! Especially the look on your face when she was asking if doctors are more aggressively diagnosing/treating lyme disease!! UHH... NO!!
I too found a small tick on my stomach in the shower and did not get sick right away. My first symptoms were neurological months later.
LOVED the comment about how the CDC's bogus reporting is adversely affecting us as well!! I think that is a HUGE point...along with a reliable test, maybe they could do more research into the development of new antibiotics specifically for borrelia.
Thank you for putting yourself out there. I have a feeling if we all spoke out more, it would eventually have to get better!
