I switched to Tetracycline a last week and since the first time I took it, I've had swelling around my eyes. What do you think this is? A sign that it doesn't agree with my body or some sort of herx?
At the same time, the body often swells when it is trying to fight an infection, so this might be a good thing in disguise.
I'm going to call my LLMD, but in the meantime I would love to hear some thoughts.

I had swelling around eyes as part of herx with tetracycline. It went away and I got better than before. But what you describe could also be allergy so check with your LLMD.

Not saying it's NOT an allergy or drug reaction, but my daughter had swelling around the eyes her first go'round with tetracycline. It was a herx which started about one week in.
As an aside, my husband's eyes bulged when he went on mino---a definite herx! If this is what it is for you, it will pass.

I experienced some drug reactions which usually manisfested itself by extreme nausea and vomiting, while I showed swollen tongue and difficulty breathing by others, or crusted rashes. But on many occasions I woke up in the morning with swelling around my L. eye, which could also be another Palsy experience.
